pse explorer integration into the appbuilder

Postby iain » Tue Dec 23, 2008 1:20 pm

hello

i'm new to pse, can anyone offer a little help please.

i've set pse up once on a windows laptop to test and all went well.

now i have to set it up on a linux server and connect through windows in conjunction with roundtable.

the trouble started with the step to add the ps:eScript Explorer menu option.
previously we add the propath entry for <APPS>/psecscript and the two libraries along with a customised cst and when you restart the appbuilder hey presto there are now two options on the appbuilder tools menu.

this is kind of the first hurdle and i seem keep falling.

if i setup a new appbuilder shortcut in windows it works but when i use our existing roundtable shortcut and modify the propath it simply doesn't display the tools>ps:eScript... options.

in the propath it doesn't appear to make any difference whether it is using the dns name to the server or a local copy of the code.

the only differences i see are the pf file. i could try 'amending' each entry until i find the problem but that won't help me understand anything.

has anyone any experience on this... please?

regards
Iain
